Ok, so I couldn't get the top perfectly flat! Did the next best thing!
Made lots of fun swirls with my fingers... yummie! lots of frosting to lick off! *grin*

Three down, three to go!

This is most definately a very messy business - BUT FUN!

Lost some crumbs in the hole I cut so had to fish them out.
Sure couldn't have them drop through the screw hole onto my WHITE cake below!
Chocolate crumbs on a white wedding cake just aren't fun!

Starting to gain some height here, and me being a shrimp had to start climbing at this point to frost the top layers.
Grandpa just enjoyed his lunch and watched.

5 double layer tiers.... Almost there....

Working on the last tier here, and had to be sure to get all the fingers in on it...
Ya ain't frosted a cake right less ya got it all over the place!
~besides, licking the fingers is such fun!

About this point I was getting wasted....
but it's starting to look like a wedding cake don't you think?

Almost there, gotta add a few dozen hearts now and we'll be all done... then if only we can figure how on earth to get it into the fridge cuz neither me nor momma can lift it!

Problem solved, Robert got home! Bless that handsome young lads muscles! *grin*

Ok, where's the wedding party?
Yes, I forgave Robert for accidently stepping on one of the layers on the drive to the wedding!
And, just so everyone knows, we didn't let anyone eat off that layer!
